A Week Ahead...with a girl?

Today, I went to the doctor and all looks well! The baby's heartbeat sounded strong and the doctor said I was measuring a week ahead. Are we going the have a Thanksgiving baby? Possibly. But, are we having a girl? Who knows. When the midwife was measuring me, she said something about wondering if she could find HER butt. I winced a little at that. Not because I would be upset about having a girl, but because I did NOT want to know until the baby was actually born. It is supposed to be a surprise. Maybe it still is. The midwife quickly corrected herself by saying that she only said "girl" because she was getting girl vibes. The baby's butt, by the way, is just under my, uh...heart, for lack of a better word :)


As for the insurance stuff, I feel a little better about that. I talked to the insurance lady and she laid it all out for me in terms that I could understand...I think.


Tuesday, I went shopping for the outfits to bring the baby home in. If it's a boy, it will look like this:
