Okay, so there are a few things that I have been dwelling on...
1. The Fort Hood incident - now that my hubby is in the National Guard, things like this catch my attention in a heartbeat. My heart goes out to the families that lost loved ones due to this crazy guy who killed these soldiers because he didn't want to be deployed to Iraq. Hello crazy guy, did you not realize that when you joined the Army, deployment would be an option you had to face? Now, thanks to you, families have lost someone whom they loved. The saddest part, besides the fact that it was someone they trusted, is that some of these soldiers just got back from being deployed. So, they went overseas, looked danger in the face, came back to tell about it, just to be murdered by someone at their own American base on American soil. This guy should be...well, I can't really say how I think this should be handled.
2. Moving on to brighter things - Cross Country - I coach cross country and our boy's team made it to the State Championships in Carrollton! Yay! We are going to race our best and hopefully bring home some hardware. If we don't, I know we will have at least one, maybe two, who will bring home some medals. One of them may place first!
3. Pregnancy - Of course I was going to bring this up! So, yesterday morning I got my first leg cramp of my whole pregnancy. I guess I should count my blessings because I am 9 months pregnant. My mom said she got them all throughout her pregnancies. But, my leg is now killing me! My calf muscle is so pulled, I feel like I ran a marathon without stretching. And, also yesterday, the baby kicked me so hard, it startled me awake. Wow! It didn't hurt, but I get the feeling he/she is getting bored in there.
Well, that's about all for now.
