Thursday = rainy yuckliness

So, it's not raining yet, but I know it's coming. You can tell by looking outside. It's very gray and cold looking. Has been all day. But, it's not cold...not yet. I took Drake, aka he who never takes naps at least not long naps, outside earlier and it was really windy, but, not cold. Nice change. Now, just need to get rid of the gray clouds and wind and we'll be all set. I need sunshine! We do get to get out of the house today though. We are going to Target! Love Target. I have money to spend, but I know as soon as I get there, I won't want to spend any of it. Because, if I do, that means I won't have any money to spend on my next shopping trip. The more money I have, the less I want to spend. The less money I have, the more I want to spend. I'm messed up.

This and that

It's been about a week since I last posted. Busy week. Toby was back to his normal self on Tuesday...jumping and playing and completely ignoring any command given to him. On Tuesday, we had our Cross Country Banquet. Shane's Rib Shack catered and we brought home about 10 lbs. of pork, 20 chicken tenders, a million brownies, and bread. We are still eating off of that. Who would have ever thought we'd get sick of Shane's? Our team gave us over $300 in gift cards. We were truly blown away! It was such a blessing!

Not much happened on Wednesday, but it was hump day!

Thursday, we had another baby shower! Got lots of fun things like diapers, wipes, toys, handmade blankets, a boppy pillow and cover, etc...FABULOUS!!!!

Friday, my hubby participated in a flag football game that ended not so great for him. He always says his "hips don't lie!" Well, his hips didn't lie. Apparently they bobbed and weaved one way and his feet bobbed and weaved the other way and he fell on his shoulder. We don't know if it is separated or dislocated. It's not broken, thank God! I got to baby him on Friday night :)

Saturday, he babied me. He took me shopping and we got a ton of stuff off our registry. Now, all we need is the post-it-note sized list I made. Sure beats 16 pages of registry stuff. We are very excited abou the great deals we found. LOVE BURLINGTON BABY DEPOT!!!! If you haven't been there, I definitely suggest it.
